Vodka, Green Chartreuse, cornichon brine, and Élixir Végétal—cold, spare, herbally precise.

Stir over ice, strain into a chilled martini glass. No garnish.

neutral, cold — store in freezer
0.75 oz
Green Chartreuse
55% abv, 130 alpine herbs — the defining note
0.25 oz
Cornichon brine
French pickle brine — saline, bright acidity
2 dashes
Élixir Végétal de la Grande Chartreuse
as spray or drops — 69% abv herbal concentrate
Chill a martini glass — fill with ice water and set aside.
Fill a mixing glass with ice.
Add vodka, Green Chartreuse, cornichon brine, and Élixir Végétal.
Stir for 10–12 seconds (20 revolutions).
Discard the ice water from the martini glass.
Strain into the chilled glass. No garnish.
